Boeing: 17 Plane Cancellations in Last Week Boeing reported 17 cancellations for its commercial aircraft in the last week. Year to date, Boeing had 85 gross orders and 84 cancellations, for a net total of one plane for 2009. Human Factors Pose Safety Threat
"Human factors" in the MRO sector are emerging as a worrisome trend in global air crashes, reported the Flight Safety Foundation, a watchdog group. In a report this week, Flight Safety warned that 2009 could be the worst year in a decade for major commercial aviation accidents.
