The Goodrich Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) system has received Supplemental Type Certification (STC) from Transport Canada for the Bombardier Global Express family of aircraft to include the Global Express, the Global XRS and the Global 5000. The certification process was conducted by Business Jet Aircraft Completions (BJAC), based in Dorval, Quebec, Canada. Goodrich selected BJAC as a worldwide authorized sales and service center of Goodrich Electronic Flight Bag systems for business jet aircraft last year. "The Goodrich Electronic Flight Bag offers uncompromising, best-in-class EFB performance and reliability making it the perfect match for this market," said Jan Mathiesen, vice president, Goodrich Sensors and Integrated Systems. "BJAC's experience and reputation with business jets make them an excellent channel to this market. The hardware and software integration provided by BJAC allows customized installation and personalized product support to maximize value to the operators." Bryan Landry, president of BJAC, said Goodrich’s EFB offers many options including service-minded, one- touch menu applications. BJAC installations accomplished under Supplemental Type Certificates allow hard-mounted EFBs to meet and/or exceed client expectations."
