Elbit Systems Awarded UAV Contract

Elbit Systems Ltd., based in Haifa, Israel, was awarded a $25 million contract from a “country in the Americas” to supply its Hermes 450 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems. The contract also includes Elbit’s Skylark I systems, all to be delivered within a year. Hermes 450 is the basis for the U.K.'s Watchkeeper program. Skylark is a mini/man-pack UAV system.
