Rockwell Collins Awarded Army Pact

Rockwell Collinswas awarded a $39.3 million contract from the U.S. Army to provide the common avionics architecture system (CAAS) hardware for a variety of airframes. The contract provides the CAAS in support of the production and sustainment of the CH-47F, CH-53E, MH-53E, UH-60M/MU, HH-60M MU/J, MH-47D/E/G, MH-6, MH-60K/L/T, MH-56C, ARH, VH-60 and other CAAS variants. Work is to be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with an estimated completion date of 2014, according to the Navy.
