Mesa Air Group, Inc. Reports June 2007 Traffic Including go!, Hawaii's Low Fare Airline

PHOENIX, July 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mesa Air Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: MESA) reported its preliminary traffic figures, on-time performance and completion rate figures for June 2007. Year-over-year available seat miles increased 0.16% in June 2007 to 767 million, compared to 765 million in June 2006. Revenue passenger miles increased 3.08% from 341 million in 2006 to 352 million in 2007. Passenger enplanements increased 13.59% from 7,356,756 in June 2006 to 8,356,278 in June 2007. Year-over-year load factor for the month of June increased from 76.44% in 2006 to 76.62% in 2007.

June was another month of strong operational performance for Mesa's independent Hawaii division go!. The inter-island Hawaii operation recorded an overall completion factor of 99.44% and on-time arrival rate of 85.37%. go! generated 12.82 million available seat miles, 9.24 million revenue passenger miles and 63,965 passenger enplanements, resulting in a load factor of 72.07%.

Based on recently released data in the Air Travel Consumer Report issued by the Department of Transportation, if go! was an independently operated airline, it would have ranked second among major airlines for mishandled baggage in May 2007. go! mishandled only 3.26 bags per 1,000 passengers. In addition, go! received no consumer complaints filed with the DOT for May 2007, which would have made it the number one carrier and the only carrier with zero consumer complaints.

Throughout the month of June, go! also brought attention to its go!Miles frequent flyer program, increasing the number of members by 25% and the number of customers registered for email promotional alerts by 100%. Passengers who register for the go!Miles frequent flyer program are able to earn go!Miles redeemable for future travel and can receive 500 free miles by registering online.
