Bombardier reported that corrosion was found on the SAS lainding gear involved in the recent accident in Vilnius which prompted an emergency Airworthiness Directive and the grounding Q400 aircraft in Europe and the U.S. The corrosion was found on the actuator that extends and retracts the gear.
