Adria Airways Orders NextGen Airliners

Adria Airways of Ljubljana, Slovenia has signed a firm order for two Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen and one CRJ1000 NextGen regional jets. Adria is the fourth airline to order the Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft, launched in February. The value of the order based on the aircraft list prices is approximately $122.7 million. Adria Airways, a Star Alliance Regional carrier, has been a Bombardier customer since March, 1997 when it placed an order for two CRJ200 50-passenger regional jets. It currently operates seven of these aircraft as well as two 86-seat CRJ900 jets that entered service in May.
