Flight Chaplains at AMTC 2008

The round table discussion at the Air Medical Transport Conference was the first of its kind for the flight chaplains. This forum allowed participants to interact with a flight chaplain, share reactions to the role, and provided solutions for how the chaplains might advance its efforts throughout the greater medical transport industry. The discussion determined that the chaplains are valuable for crews and their organizations; enable a well-established preventative support system to be in place before a crisis occurs; and are reported to be the safest preventative source of help for flight crews during times of need and crisis.
