PSN Forms Joint Venture to Cover Western Caribbean Region

HOUSTON, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Production Services Network (PSN), an international energy services business, has formed a joint venture with Kenson Production Services Limited based in Trinidad, to provide integrated solutions for contracting services in the Western Caribbean. Kenson has provided services for major exploration and production companies in and around Trinidad for 14 years.

The new company, called Kenson-PSN, is based in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Kenson-PSN will offer the full range of engineering, construction, hook-up and commissioning, operational and maintenance support in the region.

"Like the Gulf of Mexico, the Trinidad oilfields are a mature market requiring expertise and innovation to enhance dwindling production while reducing their lease operating expenses," said Zeffrey Lucas, president of operations in the Americas for PSN.

"Coupled with Kenson's extensive knowledge of the energy industry in the area, PSN brings additional leadership, significant oil and gas production management experience as well as expertise to the major international energy companies operating in the Western Caribbean," Lucas added.

"The union of these two companies is the result of a mutual search for a partner who understands the concept of adding and driving value to our client base," said Kenneth Ferguson, founder and chairman of Kenson. "PSN, like Kenson, adheres to the philosophy that our clients' success is critical to our own success and growth, and that principle, above all, made us certain that our partnership with this company would flourish."
