Air Evac Lifeteam Loses Crew on Search Effort

An Air Evac Lifeteam Bell 206 crashed Dec. 30 while assisting in a search of a missing hunter in northern Alabama, killing all three crewmembers on board. The crew had spotted the hunter, according to the FAA, and was using its searchlight to guide ground teams to him when the crash occurred. Officials identified the victims as pilot Michael Baker and crewmembers Allan Bragwell and Tiffany Miles. The FAA and NTSB are investigating. For related news

There are no words that can help your hearts, but know that all of you are and have been in my heart and prayers. I did not have the privilege of knowing these heroes, but I have cried with you and for you since this horrible accident. My family and I are from Spring Valley and I worked with Greg Witt many years ago. Thank all of you for all you do. You are all heroes to us.
