Bolivian President’s Helicopter Crashes

Four Venezuelan soldiers and one Bolivian soldier died during the weekend in an accident involving a helicopter used hours before by Bolivian President Evo Morales. There aren’t many details, but the Super Puma was used early on July 20 by the president. The helicopter was then scheduled to travel to Cochabamba in central Bolivia, where it would refuel, and later travel to Cobija, about 450 mi away. The helicopter never arrived at Cobija.
