Helicopters Called to Search

A Blount County, Tenn. man has been missing for days and, weather permitting, Knox County’s Airwatch (the adjoining county) will be called into service today. Operated by the Knox County’s Sheriff Dept, Airwatch flies five OH-58s and one UH-1 Huey. The department told R&W that if they fly today, and there is a 95 percent chance they will, the flir equipped Huey, operated by one pilot and one observer, will cover the mountainous terrain.
